Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or playing MonsteRanch ("the Game"), made by Monster-Studios ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Game.

2. Who can play

MonsteRanch isn't directed at children under 13. If you're under the age required to consent to these Terms in your country, you'll need a parent or guardian's permission to play.

3. Your account

• One account per person. Keep your password to yourself — you're responsible for anything that happens under your account.
• Give us a real, working email if one is requested, so we can help you recover your account.
• We can suspend or ban an account that breaks these Terms, including for cheating, exploiting bugs for personal gain, or abusive behaviour.
• Buying or owning virtual currency or items doesn't exempt you from these Terms. Spending money on the Game doesn't protect your account from suspension or a ban, and purchases aren't refunded because of one.

4. Playing fair

You agree not to:

• Use bots, macros, or modified clients to gain an unfair advantage.
• Exploit bugs or server issues instead of reporting them — items or currency gained this way may be removed.
• Harass, threaten, or target other players, in chat or anywhere connected to the Game (including our Discord).
• Attempt to access another player's account, or our servers, without permission.
• Cross-trade — trade monsters, items, or currency for real money, items in other games, or anything arranged outside the Game's official Trading Hall.

5. Chat & user content

In-game chat is filtered and moderated, but you're responsible for what you send. Don't post anything illegal, harassing, or that violates someone else's rights. We can remove messages and take action on accounts that misuse chat.

6. Virtual items & currency

Monster-Bucks, Gemstones, monsters, pets, and other in-game items exist only inside MonsteRanch. They have no real-world monetary value, can't be exchanged for cash, and can be changed, rebalanced, or removed as the Game is updated. We don't guarantee any item or currency will be available forever.

7. Linking Discord

You can optionally link your MonsteRanch account to your Discord account (via !dlink in our Discord server) for extra features. Unlinking is available at any time with !dunlink. Discord's own terms and privacy policy apply to your use of Discord itself.

8. Third-party services

The Game and this site use some third-party services — for example ad networks on mobile, itch.io for distribution, and Discord for community features. Those services operate under their own terms, which we don't control.

9. The Game as-is

MonsteRanch is provided "as is." We work to keep it running and to fix bugs, but we don't guarantee it'll always be available, error-free, or that your progress can never be lost (for example, to a server or database problem). To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Game.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Game changes. If we make a material change, we'll post the update here with a new "last updated" date.
